EVENT LOCATION

General Warehouses Milan, one location For events unique and spectacular in the city, a multimedia space where all the senses can be stimulated, overcoming the characteristic barriers of the nightclub in the canonical sense.

A place dedicated to quality music with an eye on the latest developments in the global music scene.

THE STORY

The venue opened in Milan in the fall of 1995, inside a complex of early 20th-century warehouses served and connected to the Italian State Railways. Among the many spaces in the area, an old warehouse from the 1930s was chosen for the venue. It spans two floors: a large 1,000-square-meter main floor featuring a 100-square-meter stage, an 18-meter long bar, a 200-square-meter dance floor, and a private mezzanine.

Leaving the warehouses, one feels like stepping back in time. The rows of warehouses, once used for artisanal activities and as storage for goods for the nearby railway, have been renovated and are now home to new businesses, the end product of which is a new cultural approach to the philosophy of leisure.

Chemical Brothers, Sven Vath, Ricardo Villalobos, Miss Kittin, Tiga, David Guetta and dozens of other superstar DJs are just some of the names who are at home in the decks at the Magazzini, but also the cream of the international and national undergrowth, a sign that has always distinguished this venue, which despite its stature continues to research the underground.

EVENTS

Over the years, the 100-square-meter stage has hosted concerts, presentations, music previews, parties, events, and theatrical performances, including live performances by bands such as Franz Ferdinand, Kaiser Chiefs, Hot Chip, Charlatans, Battles, TV On The Radio, Devendra Banhart, Emiliana Torrini, Pendulum, and the Black Keys, as well as events for multinational brands ranging from Nokia to Nike, Nissan to Mondadori, Chanel, Coca-Cola, Tim, and dozens of others.
